Congratulating Inverness Foodstuff on its First Anniversary in Hilton
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Inverness Foodstuff on celebrating its first anniversary since its expansion to Hilton, serving 5,295 meals in its first year of operation in the area; understands that it runs weekly lunch clubs that allow members of the community to come together to get a hot meal and socialise, aiming to tackle food poverty and social isolation; notes that its lunches are supported with £72,000 from the Scottish Government's Social Isolation and Loneliness Fund; recognises the importance of the organisation in supporting the wellbeing of the local community and providing a safe place for people to be fed and socialise; congratulates the Inverness Foodstuff team on reaching this milestone in Hilton, and wishes them all the best in continuing to make a difference locally.
