Celebrate Aberdeen Awards
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the announcement of the finalists for 2024’s Celebrate Aberdeen Awards; notes that the awards, which are returning for their fifth year, will take place at the Chester Hotel on 26 October and will recognise the huge contribution that the third sector makes to thousands of lives across Aberdeen city and shire; understands that several organisations are being nominated for the first time this year, with a total of 23 charities and individuals being nominated across eight categories; thanks the Celebrate Aberdeen sponsors for making the awards night possible; believes that every nominee would be a worthy winner for the hard work, time and dedication that they give to help make a difference to the lives of those who rely on their support, and hopes everyone has a fantastic time celebrating each other’s achievements.
