Friends of Dundonald Castle Win Prestigious Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates South Ayrshire charity, Friends of Dundonald Castle, which has won the Celebrating Thriving Communities category at The West of Scotland Regional Thistle Awards; understands that the award acknowledges the charity's efforts in "partnership working, collaborations and team working" and that the Thistle Awards celebrates those who make outstanding contributions to Scotland's tourism industry; further understands that the award recognises the organisation's work in "supporting and building a vibrant and inclusive community through its educational programmes, historical preservation, and diverse community initiatives"; commends the Friends of Dundonald Castle for the fantastic work that it does, and wishes it well as it progresses to represent the West of Scotland at the National Scottish Thistle Awards.
