Platinum Accreditation for The Lennox Partnership

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates The Lennox Partnership (TLP) on being awarded a WeInvest in People Platinum accreditation by Investors in People; commends thetailored employability support that is currently delivered in eight localauthorities in Scotland by TLP’s chief executive, Blyth Deans, and colleagues;applauds the dedication of staff over the past 36 years to support peopleacross Scotland into lasting employment; understands that the not-for-profitorganisation has held Investors in People recognition since 1998, and that themuch-coveted Platinum award recognises the sense of ownership that employees atall levels have in striving to enable the best possible outcomes for programmeparticipants who find themselves out of work; welcomes the work of Investors inPeople in encouraging employers to place greater value on the skills,experience, development and wellbeing of team members; thanks chief executiveofficer of Investors in People, Paul Devoy, and his team, for their support oforganisations seeking similar accreditation, and sends every best wish to theinspirational team at TLP for continued success through what it sees as itslife-transforming work in the Strathkelvin and Bearsden constituency andbeyond.
