Congratulations to Christie the Baker on Winning the South Scotland Category at the National Bakery Awards 2024

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates much-loved Christie the Baker on winning the South Scotland Category at the National Bakery Awards 2024; recognises that Christie the Baker has been serving the communities of Coatbridge, Airdrie and Whitburn for over 80 years, providing high-quality baked goods, pies and pastries; considers that this recognition is a testament to the skill, creativity and dedication of the 70-strong team, and acknowledges what it sees as the important role that Christie the Baker plays in supporting the local community and its regular contributions to charitable causes.
