The New Recovery Hub Receives Funding
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the New Recovery Hub on receiving funding from Asda Newmains and the Asda Foundation; understands that £800 was awarded to the Hub to enable the group to construct a new area, which will provide a sink, work and wash zone, allowing members to prepare hot or cold food and drinks to use during their sessions; recognises what it sees as the vital role that the New Recovery Hub plays in supporting individuals on their recovery journey by providing a safe, welcoming and resourceful environment; notes what it sees as the importance of the Hub’s services; commends the ongoing efforts of all staff, volunteers and supporters, and wishes them all the best for the future.
