The Bread Guy, the North Scotland Winner of the National Bakery of the Year Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Gary and Donna McAllister, owners of The Bread Guy, and all their staff, on winning the North Scotland award at the National Bakery Awards 2024; notes that the awards celebrate the early mornings, long days and hard work required to produce outstanding products, excellent customer service and dedication to their communities; commends the dedication of Gary and Donna to growing their renowned bakery business, specialising in artisan breads, cakes and pies using locally sourced ingredients; recognises what it sees as their important role in the food and drink supply chain in the north east, by supplying local shops, restaurants, cafes and specialty food stores with high-quality products; congratulates the team on its commitment and efforts, and wishes everyone at The Bread Guy every success for the future.
