Congratulating Moira Gray on Leading Kilbarchan Junior Choir for 46 Years

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Moira Gray on reaching the milestone of leading Kilbarchan Junior Choir for 46 years; recognises that Moira has been in charge of the choir since the summer of 1978, and previously was a member of Glasgow Youth Choir at the age of seven; notes that Moira has not only trained children by leading the Kilbarchan Choir, but is also the former headteacher of Queen Margaret Academy in Ayr; understands that Moira is now assisted by her daughter-in-law, Pamela, who also was a member of Glasgow Youth Choir, and commends Moira for her contribution to Kilbarchan and beyond by helping to train hundreds of children over the years and for her continual support to the community.
