Taxable Benefits in Kind
The motion
That the Parliament believes that all citizens should be treated equally under the law, including when it comes to taxation; considers that, if free tracksuits are taxable benefits in kind for professional athletes, then free three-piece suits should be taxable benefits in kind for politicians, and calls on the Prime Minister to pay income tax and national insurance on all of what many of the public reportedly regard to be the “freebies” that he has received.
