Top Awards for Falkirk East’s Adult Scouting Leaders

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates three adult scouting leaders who have recently been awarded top scouting awards; understands that the trio of adult scout leaders, Lenny Jamieson, Charlie Stevenson and Ann Gilchrist, were recognised at the recent annual general meeting of the Falkirk District Scouts on 19 September 2024, having a combined service to the local group of 150 years; notes that Lenny and Charlie received the Silver Wolf Award, which is the highest level of recognition given by the Chief Scout for those with service of an exceptional nature; recognises that Ann, who received the Silver Wolf Award in 2015, also received her 50-year service award at this meeting; congratulates Lenny, Charlie and Ann on the recognition that they have received from the Falkirk District Scouts Group; thanks them for their years of dedicated service to various scouts groups across the district, including in Grangemouth, Laurieston and Tryst, and wishes them all the best for the future.
