NHS Grampian Becomes the First NHS Board to Sign the Volunteer Charter
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates NHS Grampian on it becoming the first NHS board to sign the volunteer charter; understands that it currently has around 250 volunteers, with volunteering opportunities available at Woodend Hospital and Aberdeen Royal Infirmary; notes that the volunteer charter was relaunched in June 2023 and outlines the key principles designed to underpin positive relations in a volunteering environment; recognises that these principles aim to ensure a supportive and rewarding experience for volunteers while encouraging organisations to uphold the highest standards of sustainable and legitimate volunteer engagement; commends the hard work and efforts of all of the volunteers in NHS Grampian, and wishes them all the best for the future.
