Hamilton Park Racecourse Named a Finalist at RCA Showcase Awards 2024

The motion

That the Parliament applauds Hamilton Park Racecourse on it being named as a finalist at the prestigious Racecourse Association (RCA) Showcase Awards in the highly regarded Owners’ Racecourse of the Year category; believes that, as this category is exclusively voted on by racehorse owners, this underscores Hamilton Park's consistent ability to offer an outstanding experience for this key customer group; understands that the Showcase Awards, which are held annually by the RCA, celebrate excellence and innovation in the racecourse industry; notes that the 2024 ceremony will be hosted on 7 November at the Signet Library in Edinburgh; acknowledges that Hamilton Park made history as the first "small" venue to be crowned RCA's overall champion in 2019, marking its place among Britain’s finest racecourses, and wishes it continued success at awards and in all future endeavours.
