The Importance of the Acorn Project
The motion
That the Parliament expresses its deep concern at reports that the UK Government has once again overlooked what it sees as the economically and environmentally crucial Acorn Project, which is a carbon capture and storage initiative based at St Fergus on the Buchan Coast; recognises what it considers to be the vital role of the Acorn Project in strengthening Scotland's economy and fulfilling its climate commitments, and calls on the UK Government to end the reported ongoing delay, and to provide much-needed clarity and investment as a priority.
