Thomas Burns & Son Secures Coveted Diamond Award at the Scottish Craft Butchers Awards 2024
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Thomas Burns & Son, of Bo’ness, on its success at the Scottish Craft Butchers Awards 2024; understands that the evaluation for the "make it with pork" section of the awards was held at Forth Valley College’s Alloa Campus on 8 August 2024, with Thomas Burns & Son securing the only Diamond Award for its specially crafted truffled hog pork parcels; recognises that Thomas Burns & Son is a family-run butchers, now in the hands of the third generation following its establishment in 1954, and congratulates Thomas Burns & Son on the success of its truffled hog pork parcels and on another successful year at the Scottish Craft Butchers Awards.
