GGM Tree Surgery and Landscaping Named Scotland’s Best Landscaping Company

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates GGM Tree Surgery and Landscaping, based in Rutherglen, on being named Scotland’s Best Landscaping Company at the recent Scottish Home Improvement Awards 2024; notes that the company was founded five years ago by Jordan Grant, with a single van and a lawnmower, and has grown significantly since; further notes that a key driver for the company has been to provide opportunities to young people from difficult backgrounds, and that Jordan has established an apprenticeship programme in tree surgery with support from Skills Development Scotland; considers that the company’s dedication to supporting young people in building their careers, innovation, and quality workmanship has positioned it as a leader in the landscaping industry, and wishes it all the best for the future.
