Recovery Walk 2024 at River Clyde Honours Lives Lost to Addiction

The motion

That the Parliament recognises the Recovery Walk and poignant ceremony held at the River Clyde, where roses were placed in memory of those lost to addiction; acknowledges the devastating impact that addiction can have on individuals, families and communities across Scotland; commends the organisers and participants for raising awareness of the ongoing drug crisis, and for honouring the lives tragically cut short by addiction, and calls for continued efforts to provide comprehensive support, treatment and resources for those affected by addiction in order to prevent further loss of life.
