Aberdeen Lads Club and EY Collaboration

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the announcement of a two-year collaboration between the Aberdeen office of the professional services firm, EY, and the local charity, Aberdeen Lads Club, based in Tillydrone; understands that the collaboration will see staff at EY’s Aberdeen office support the Lads Club through a series of fundraising and volunteering activities, as well as providing pro bono practical help; notes that Aberdeen Lads Club provides a range of childcare, youth engagement and family support services, including early years nurseries, an after school club, junior and senior youth clubs and school holiday clubs; believes that this partnership will help Aberdeen Lads Club with its aim to improve the lives of children and young people as they progress towards adulthood, while also supporting their families, and wishes all the staff at EY’s Aberdeen office all the best in their charitable endeavours.
