Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation Annual Ball
The motion
That the Parliament commends the Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation on raising an incredible £64,000 from its annual fundraising ball; understands that the event took place in the Crowne Plaza, Glasgow, with Gary Hollywood, star of Mrs Brown’s Boys, the compère for the evening; notes that many businesses, football and rugby teams donated prizes, along with an auction to have the artist, Callum Beattie, perform in the winner's home; commends what it sees as the hard work and commitment of everyone at the Foundation, and all those who fundraise throughout the year, to ensure that families create special memories when facing the most difficult of times, and wishes them well,
