150th Anniversary of Dalziel St Andrew's Parish Church, Motherwell

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Dalziel St Andrew's Parish Church, in Motherwell, on its 150th anniversary; recognises what it sees as the historic and significant role that the church has played in the community since its establishment in 1874, providing spiritual, social, and charitable support to the people of Motherwell and beyond; notes that to mark this important milestone, the church will be hosting an Open Doors Day and a Service of Thanksgiving, which will be conducted by Rev Alistair May; commends the congregation for their ongoing dedication to the community, and wishes them well as they continue to serve and support the people of Motherwell for many years to come.
