Girvan Youth Football Club Awarded Investment from Sportscotland

The motion

That the Parliament applauds Girvan Youth Football Club on being awarded £150,000 from sportscotland through its Facility Fund; understands that this money will be used to upgrade the club’s sports pavilion to include inclusive changing and toilet facilities; notes that this upgrade will also benefit other groups and clubs in the community who use the facilities; recognises that the sportscotland funding is for rural communities, areas of deprivation and for projects designed to make sport more accessible and inclusive; congratulates Girvan Youth Football Club on benefitting members of the community, and wishes the club the very best for the future.
