Islamophobia Awareness Month #SeedsofChange

The motion

That the Parliament applauds the efforts of all those who have supported Islamophobia Awareness Month (IAM) over the last 12 years; understands that the theme for Islamophobia Awareness Month for 2024 is Seeds of Change, with focus on the importance of small actions to create big change; further understands that the goal is to raise awareness of Islamophobia and encourage people to take action; appreciates the support of police forces, local government, and charitable organisations, and acknowledges the work of stakeholders and all those working towards the elimination of Islamophobia, racism and discrimination in Scotland.
