First Bus Acts of Kindness Campaign

The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the launch of First Bus’s Acts of Kindness campaign in Aberdeen on 4 November 2024; notes that the month-long campaign, which aligns with World Kindness Day on 13 November, will see First Bus partnering with local businesses to spread joy and appreciation, supporting local businesses and raising a sense of unity among residents; understands that this will take the form of 50 exclusive items each day, from Wednesday through to Sunday, available for redemption using the special code, "First Bus Freebie", including lattes from Mount Café, cinnamon-sugar doughnuts from Dough & Co, scones from Books & Beans, and free tickets from Aberdeen Football Club; congratulates the businesses taking part in the campaign for these small acts of kindness, and hopes that many people find their day is made a little bit better as a result.
