Sunrise Partnership
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Sunrise Partnership on receiving a grant of £119,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund; notes that Sunrise Partnership is a small charity working in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, helping children and young people who have been affected by grief and loss, understanding that this can have a long-lasting impact on their mental health, behaviour and choices through adulthood; understands that this grant will be used to allow the group to offer a free, confidential and therapeutic support service to children and young people up to age 18 throughout Aberdeen city and shire; hopes that these funds enable the group to successfully help many young people who have experienced loss, and wishes the Sunrise Partnership all the very best in its endeavours.
