Clyde Valley Community Church
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Clyde Valley Community Church on receiving support from the National Lottery Community Fund; acknowledges the significance of this grant of £10,000, which will be used to support the group's foodbank; understands that there is an increasing demand in Motherwell for support from foodbanks and that the grant will help alleviate some of the pressure currently being faced; acknowledges that Clyde Valley Community Church runs a free cafe that foodbank visitors can attend, as well as access a multitude of additional support services and advice; commends the work of the facilitators, volunteers and wider community support on their dedication to providing much needed support to their community, and wishes Clyde Valley Community Church all the best for the future.
