Police Service of Scotland
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Police Service of Scotland on receiving support from the National Lottery Community Fund; recognises the importance of this grant of £6,000, which will be used to support the creation of two murals in Police Scotland custody centres in Motherwell and Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire; understands that the funding will facilitate the consultation phase of the project, working directly with justice-affected individuals to improve their wellbeing through creative activities and signposting to local third sector support; acknowledges the significance of providing creative outlets and further support to justice-affected individuals, and wishes the Police Service of Scotland all the best with the plan.
