Kyle Academy Pupils Climb Goatfell for Children in Need

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates S6 pupils from Kyle Academy, in Ayr, who have climbed Arran's Goatfell in aid of Children in Need; understands that, in advance of their week of fundraising events for Children in Need, a group of S6 fundraisers climbed Goatfell, raising almost £3,000, which is a significant step towards their £5,000 target; notes that, during Children in Need week, the school hosts a talent show, bake sale, football and netball tournaments, games, competitions and many more activities, all to raise money for this worthwhile cause; commends the Goatfell climbers and all the pupils and staff at Kyle Academy, and wishes them the very best in their fundraising efforts.
