National Lottery Community Fund Support for the AIMS Project
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the AIMS Project, which is based in North Lanarkshire, on receiving a National Lottery Community Fund grant of £19,402; understands that this one-year project will support the delivery of an evening youth club for 12- to 18-year-olds who are experiencing complex mental health difficulties or challenging life circumstances; notes that the project offers a broad range of initiatives, including outdoor activities and challenges aimed at promoting teamwork, connecting with other people, trying new things, increasing motivation and cohesion, and believes that the funding will help the project meet its aims to build resilience and coping skills in children and young people.
