Clan Cancer Support Raises £3,046 at Secret Art Exhibition in Orkney

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the success of Clan Cancer Support in raising £3,046 at a secret art exhibition, which showcased the work of local artists; notes that this money will go towards extending the vital work done by the charity in supporting people with cancer and their families in Orkney; understands that the event was so popular that local residents lined up in the street in Kirkwall to get a chance to view the artwork on offer; recognises the opportunity that this event provided to bring together the local community in celebration of the shared artistic talents of islanders, but also the important work of Clan Cancer Support, and pays tribute to the invaluable support that the charity provides throughout Orkney to those affected by cancer.
