Ryan Scott Raises Awareness of #Movember
The motion
That the Parliament commends Ryan Scott, from Wishaw, for his dedication to raising awareness for #Movember, and for his commitment to supporting men's health; understands that Movember is held annually in November to highlight critical issues affecting men’s physical and mental health, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer and suicide prevention; recognises that Ryan aims to raise funds for #Movember by taking on a different activity each week throughout the month, encouraging others to engage and donate; notes with concern reports that Wishaw and Motherwell have particularly high rates of premature male deaths; praises Ryan for his efforts to bring attention to this important issue in the local community, and wishes him every success in his fundraising and awareness-raising activities for such a vital cause that it considers has the potential to impact lives across Scotland and beyond.
