Sportscotland Gold Awards Made in Central Scotland

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Logans Primary School in Motherwell, Aitkenhead Primary School in Uddingston, St Cuthbert’s Primary School in Hamilton and Newmains Primary School in Newmains on achieving Gold School Sport Awards from sportscotland; notes that the Gold Award is in recognition of the schools' achievements at putting sport at their heart of planning, practice and ethos, and further notes that this award recognises the excellent practice that the schools have shown across the core areas of the award, and that they have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to increase young people’s opportunity and engagement in physical education.
