Congratulating Carrigan’s Restaurants

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Carrigan’s restaurants on winning the Scottish Licensed Trade News Independent Multiple Operator of the Year award; understands that the awards recognise the achievements of businesses across the industry that have demonstrated their commitment to excellence and a passion for hospitality; believes that Carrigan’s is, at its heart, a local business, which started in Blantyre and was built up over decades by the Carrigan family, and now has venues in Blantyre, Hamilton and East Kilbride; commends Carrigan’s for continuing to develop its reputation as a much-loved choice for a meal, drink or coffee, known for friendly service and a warm welcome, and close links to the local community; congratulates the Carrigan’s team on their achievement, and wishes them all the best for their continuing success.
