The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Louise Parvin, from Merlins Bar in Motherwell, on being named the 2024 Scottish Licensed Trade News Scottish Hospitality Hero; recognises what it sees as Louise's exceptional contribution to the hospitality industry, where she has been a passionate and dedicated advocate for the local community, hospitality staff and customers alike; acknowledges her tireless commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment at Merlins Bar, which has become a beloved hub for socialising, celebrating and supporting the people of Motherwell; commends what it sees as her ongoing efforts to champion staff welfare, develop local partnerships and enhance the cultural and social fabric of Motherwell, and extends its best wishes to Louise as she continues to inspire others in the hospitality industry and beyond with her dedication to excellence, community spirit and leadership.
