The motion

That the Parliament welcomes the work undertaken by Glasgow-based charity, includem, in the delivery of a wide variety of services focused on helping children, young people and families to transform their lives; understands that one such project, the Multiple Risk Service, is delivered by includem at nine locations across the city of Glasgow, as well as offering an outreach service to support those who cannot access the office-based locations; acknowledges that this service enables young people, aged from 12 to 19 years old, to be referred to the Glasgow City Youth Health Service from sources such as their GP, school or family, or to self-refer; recognises the important work that is undertaken with service users in helping them to identify the underlying causes of risky or unsafe behaviours; further recognises the experience of includem staff in working with young people and families through a focused and established model, encompassing their “A Better Life” toolkit, and wishes everyone at includem well in their efforts to support a range of young people and their families across Glasgow.
