Central Taekwondo Academy’s Continued Success

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates the recent and continued success of Central Taekwondo Academy’s young athletes; understands that the academy has had recent success with three of its young athletes being selected to represent Scotland at various worldwide events; recognises that Max Cartwright has returned from Korea, where he represented team GB at the Junior World Championships in the under 73Kg category; notes that two athletes from the academy have been selected to compete at the upcoming World Poomsae Championships in Hong Kong, which will be held from 30 November to 4 December 2024, with Natasha Wilson being selected for the under 30 female category and Peter Sellwood selected in the junior male category; understands that the academy’s founder and main instructor, grand master David Bailey, will be travelling to Hong Kong as a team GB coach; congratulates Central Taekwondo Academy and its athletes on their success, and wishes them all the best for upcoming championship.
