Old Kilpatrick Food Parcels Receives The King’s Award for Voluntary Service
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Old Kilpatrick Food Parcels on receiving the prestigious The King’s Award for Voluntary Service (KAVS); understands that His Majesty The King approved the KAVS National Assessment Committee’s recommendation that the organisation should be the recipient of the award for 2024; acknowledges what a tremendous achievement this is for an organisation based in the west of Scotland; appreciates the pride that it considers the volunteers must take from being honoured in this way by The King, and wishes the organisation every success for its future community-based projects.
