Buchan Battalion Boys' Brigade

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Buchan Battalion Boys' Brigade on receiving the prestigious accolade of The King’s Award for Voluntary Service, which is the highest award given to volunteer groups across the UK, and is considered to be equivalent to being appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for volunteer groups; understands that this recognition is a testament to the exceptional community service provided by the Buchan Battalion Boys' Brigade to the Buchan area, including its work with young people to boost their confidence, to build a sense of community pride, and to help break down barriers such as social exclusion; thanks the Buchan Battalion Boys' Brigade for its invaluable contribution, and wishes it continued success in the future.
