Mamacita Foundation Receives Asda Foundation Grant

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Mamacita Foundation on receiving funding through the Asda Foundation's grant scheme; understands that the Mamacita Foundation received £1,000 from the Asda Foundation's Foodbank Fundamentals grant scheme, which is aimed at supporting foodbanks with their essential needs, including food stock, storage, white goods and fuel costs for food deliveries; recognises what it sees as the vital work carried out by the Mamacita Foundation in supporting families across Aberdeen, and its various programmes and outreach services to support migrants, asylum seekers, black and minority ethnic groups and deprived communities in Aberdeen and other parts of Scotland; commends the continued efforts of all staff and volunteers, and wishes them all the best for the future.
