Kings Oak Primary Awarded Gold School Sport Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Kings Oak Primary School in Greenock on receiving a Gold School Sport Award from sportscotland for 2024-26; believes that this prestigious award is a testament to the school’s commitment to placing sport at the heart of its ethos, planning and practice; commends what it sees as the school’s outstanding efforts in promoting physical education, leadership opportunities and pathways to lifelong participation in sport; acknowledges the total of four Gold School Sport Awards for schools in the Greenock and Inverclyde constituency, and celebrates the success of sportscotland’s refreshed School Sport Award initiative in fostering excellence and community connections.
