Congratulating Cove Sailing Club

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Cove Sailing Club on receiving an award of £100,000 from the National Lottery Sport Facilities Fund towards its new clubhouse; recognises that this project will see the club’s existing facility, which is no longer fit for purpose, replaced with a fully accessible purpose-built clubhouse; notes that it will include changing rooms, a classroom, catering facilities and appropriate storage, and understands that this investment will allow the club to pursue its aims of increasing its membership and introducing new audiences to sports such as sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding and other water-based activities.
