Glasgow Cathedral Organ Concert to Raise Money for the Homeless
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes that Glasgow Cathedral hosted an organ concert on 30 October 2024, from which all proceeds went to local homelessness charities; considers that the concert showcased music, at an affordable cost of £10, in the cathedral, which organisers have reportedly described as "more like a historic monument" than a religious venue, and celebrates the opportunity for people from all over Glasgow to come together to help combat the reportedly growing issue of homelessness across the city.
