Commending the Rotary Club of Rutherglen’s Wrap Up Lanarkshire Campaign

The motion

That the Parliament commends the Rotary Club of Rutherglen for organising 2024’s Wrap Up Lanarkshire initiative, to help those who do not have or may not be able to afford warm winter clothing during winter, including those who are experiencing homelessness; understands that around 400 warm coats and heavy jackets were donated at four local drop-off points before being painstakingly quality checked to ensure that they were in a suitable and good condition, and commends everyone involved with the project, including the volunteers who assisted with the organisation and distribution of these vital items at what can be a difficult time of year for many.
