Congratulating Applecross Nursing Home

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Applecross Nursing Home on winning the Scottish Care Awards prize for Specialist Service of the Year; understands that Applecross has the largest unit in the country caring for younger people with disabilities in the Skye Unit, as well as caring for older residents; praises what it sees as the kindness, compassion and professionalism of the Applecross team, and wishes Applecross well in its continuing work to promote its residents’ independence and dignity while meeting their needs.
