Walking Football Scotland’s Player of the Month

The motion

That the Parliament celebrates that Gillian Stevenson, of Motherwell FC Community Trust, has been recognised as Walking Football Scotland’s Player of the Month; acknowledges the partnership between Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland and Walking Football Scotland, which started with a Walking Football Scottish Cup in June 2023, the biggest one-day walking football festival in the world, that Gillian also took part in, and recognises the benefits of walking football, which include increased fitness, getting outdoors, making new friends and being part of a team.
