Charlotte Askham Wins Young Volunteer of the Year (Under 27) Award

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Charlotte Askham on winning the Young Volunteer of the Year (under 27) Award at the 2024 sportscotland Coaching, Officiating and Volunteering (COV) Awards; understands that Charlotte has been recognised for the time and dedication she has given to disability sport, to help people experience the benefits of sport and physical activity; notes that Charlotte is a member of the Scottish Disability Sport Young Person's Sports Panel, and a volunteer with Forth Valley Disability Sport; recognises that Charlotte coaches a number of inclusive sport sessions each week with Forth Valley Disability Sport and that she coaches with Falkirk Active Schools, and understands that Charlotte has also worked closely with Cricket Scotland to develop her skills and that she recently completed her initial cricket coaching qualifications.
