The Beauty Trainer Named Scottish Beauty Training Academy of the Year

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates The Beauty Trainer, at Etre Belle, Cambuslang, on being named Scottish Beauty Training Academy of the Year 2024 at the recent Oceanic Scottish Hair and Beauty Awards; understands that Leeanne Niven is a certified City and Guilds trainer, who opened The Beauty Trainer at her salon in 2019, which has gone from strength to strength since; notes that Leeanne particularly enjoys working with young people who may face barriers to their learning, helping them to work towards awards and qualifications; commends Leeanne for her involvement in the work towards increased regulation in the industry to ensure client safety, and wishes her, and The Beauty Trainer, all the best for the future.
