Clydebank Hospital Worker Honoured for 50 Years of Service to the NHS

The motion

That the Parliament recognises Ida Torrance, from Milngavie, for five decades of dedication to the NHS; understands that Ida began her career in 1973 at Glasgow Royal Infirmary as a physiology measurement technician for surgical theatre, moving to become a perfusionist in 1976; further understands that Ida worked in the Western Infirmary and Yorkhill Children's Hospital before joining the Golden Jubilee Hospital in Clydebank in 2008; congratulates Ida on receiving the Special Recognition Award at the Golden Jubilee Our People Awards ceremony, and celebrates all NHS workers.
