Glenegedale House Wins Prestigious Scottish Thistle Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Glenegedale House, in Islay, on winning the Best B&B or Guest House Experience at the 2024 Scottish Thistle Awards; understands that Glenegedale House is run by Graeme and Emma Clark, and is already a multi-award winning business; notes that Glenegedale House offers its guests a cosy atmosphere, breathtaking views over the Mull of Oa and out to the Atlantic Ocean, and exceptional Scottish cuisine with a focus on locally sourced ingredients; recognises what it sees as the importance of the B&B and guest house sector for the economy of Argyll and Bute, and wishes all involved with Glenegedale House the very best for the future.
