£21,977 Donated to Primary Schools in the Highlands and Islands as Part of the Asda Cashpot for Schools Initiative
The motion
That the Parliament celebrates that Asda customers in the Highlands and Islands were able to raise £21,977, which will be donated to support local primary schools in the region; understands that this is part of Asda’s recently launched Cashpot for Schools initiative, which aims to provide schools and parent groups with some additional funding to invest in resources and projects of their choice; notes that, of the schools participating in Scotland, two primary schools in the region made the top 10 for donations, with New Elgin in fifth place, with £2,188, and Greenwards in eighth place, with £1,824, and thanks all those who participated in the Highlands and Islands.
