QNIS Nurse Awards

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Louise Healey, team manager of the Midlothian community adult mental health team and intensive home treatment team at NHS Lothian, Mags Morrow, clinical nurse manager, lead advanced nurse practitioner, and CWIC service operational lead at East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership/NHS Lothian, and Ashley Kvasiliene, house manager at Erskine Edinburgh Home, on receiving the Queen's Nurse title; recognises that all three nurses completed the Queen's Nursing Institute Scotland's (QNIS) nine-month development programme in 2024; notes that the programme consists of  workshops, including online workshops, and individual coaching sessions that are focused on developing their professional skills so that they can deliver outstanding patient care; commends the work of Louise, Mags and Ashley, and thanks them for their contribution to Scotland's health service.
