Bearsden and Milngavie Community Magazine Celebrates 10th Anniversary

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Bearsden and Milngavie Community Magazine on celebrating 10 years in print; notes that the magazine was designed, written and then launched in November 2014 to more than 20,000 homes and businesses in the Bearsden, Milngavie and Westerton areas; understands that the aim of creating the magazine was to report on local news about people and events, and provide local information about things to do; acknowledges the support of the magazine in highlighting children and adults alike in its quest for challenges, fundraising and winning awards and prizes; appreciates the support of local advertisers who have remained loyal and assisted the magazine to flourish, and wishes the team every success for the future.
